About Coed
Coed Hills is an unforgettable venue & eco community set in over 100 acres of natural woodland & countryside. With its own stone circle, swimming lake & unique community barn space, woodland classroom, wood fired saunas & fire pits for ancestral and bardic fires under the stars.
With an awe-inspiring view across the Severn channel from the stone circle, and a medicinal, edible forest garden run by the community gardeners. There is so much here to enjoy and explore.
As well as an array of accommodation in quirky cabins, rustic yurt, cosy pods and large camping field with onsite showers, toilet facilities & even a woodfired sauna.
The land here is truly magical, you will feel it as soon as you arrive, especially as we gather during the heat of summer, with the wild flowers, herbs, bees, butterflies and birds greeting you and the magnificent sunsets in the stone circle as the sun goes down.

The Rose Flames Project
At the powerful time of Imbolc, sacred rose flames were created in ceremony by Liam Cornwell, flame-bearer and founder of the Rose Flame project, carrying the prayer of Unity. The Rose Flames have journeyed to flame-bearers in Alba, Éire, England and Cymru, we are to pass a flame onto Brittany at the gathering.
From February on a journey to each of the Celtic lands, the flames have been connected as Emma Blake-Jones travelled with the Rose flame of Cymru, to meet the flames and connect the prayer.
The land, the dragons, the ancestors and the druids are calling us to gather. The ley lines of Albion are being activated. Reigniting the flame of Albion, the Unity of the Celtic lands, and from these sacred isles, Unity of all lands…
In June at Awen Calls, Albion, we call you and all the flames together to ignite and activate the prayer of Unity within the Celtic Lands, for Albion and all lands.

A Temple for Brigid and Cerridwen
Alongside our workshops and activities, there will be a permanent temple space for Brigid and Cerridwen. We invite you to connect with and honour these ancient Goddesses.
The Albion Line
The Albion Line (The Belinus Line) is considered Britain's longest Ley Line connecting major prehistoric, Roman, and medieval locations along a central North South axis.
Made famous by "The Spine of Albion" a 15-year research project and book series by Gary Biltcliffe and Caroline Hoare, defining a 900-mile geomantic energy line stretching from the Isle of Wight to Durness in Scotland. It links ancient sacred sites, capitals, and stone circles, believed by researchers to follow "dragon paths" of yin and yang energies.
In these powerful times of change so many are hearing and feeling the call of the land, the dragons, the ley lines and earth grids.
When we gather together in ceremony, sound and communion with the land we can truly shift the vibration and activate the codes and prayers which are bring us all to a new time

Awen Calls began 5 years ago as Emma, and later, Gareth pilgrimaged across Wales to activate and discover the ancient and sacred landscape, journeying from Llantwit Major's Celtic university just miles from Coed Hills in the South to Ynys Mon in the North, carrying the waters and stones of the Welsh isles across the world, weaving with the seed of Awen.
After hosting gatherings and retreats for over 10 years at Coed Hills they met Stella Marie who was also devoted to the path of Awen, and were called to put on their first Awen Calls in February 2025 as a celebration of Earth-walking and Welsh culture, which has evolved into the Albion gathering, where they have met people on similar missions across the Celtic lands
